Is ISIS purposefully creating the refugee crisis in order to destroy the West?

Is ISIS purposefully creating the refugee crisis so that Western countries have to accept thousands of refugees thus destroying their culture and making them more exposed to terrorists?

They are not fully responsible for the refugee crisis. The Civil War started in 2011 and the destabilisation initially came from within (Arab Spring). I think ISIS/Daesh are definitely exploiting the crisis but they did not create the crisis themselves. A lot of refugees fled due to their houses being bombed by foreign powers (US-NATO coalition & Syrian + Russian military) but the current civil war between Turks, Kurds, The Government and ISIS/Daesh definitely exacerbates the issue.
