Is History and Archaeology BA as good as an Archaeology degree?
My insurance choice uni (Bangor) told me that the Archaeology degree I had picked has been withdrawn but I instead qualify for their History and Archaeology degree which is 50/50 and still has field school etc. Is this a good idea if I want to become an archaeologist or should I opt out and just go through clearing if I don't get into my firm? Are there any advantages or disadvantages? Thank you

It really depends what kind of archaeologist you want to be. I would have concerns about the limitations of the course though.
