Should be: (2+0.8d)i + 0.6dj (Note the second d)
This gives you a different position for B', etc.
Thanks. I have only just noticed your reply. On re-doing the question before your reply I got the correct answer and discovered, by comparing it with my previous workings, the lack of d but thanks all the same. It's useful isn't it to completely restart rather than checking workings,
what Ghostwalker said. could i suggest that you put squiggles under the i j and k in your exam ?
Thanks for your advice. I am in the very happy position of not needing to take any exams - I'm very old and doing maths as a hobby. However, what you have told me will enhance my work i\'m sure.
