Something which allows you to be very broad in your discussion could be something like 'Evaluate the implications of globalisation'
Here you can discuss:
Does globalisation make countries economically richer or poorer?
-Here you can discuss gdp figures, growth figures and trade figures
-How globalisation has lead to the exploitation of countries
Does globalisation make individuals/people richer or poorer?
-Here you can discuss the creation and loss of jobs in certain areas
-The creation of higher payed jobs
-The increasing of 'sweatshop' labour
-How globalisation has helped lift hundreds of millions out of poverty
-The expanding middle class of many devloping nations
Does globalisation produce inequality or help eradicate it?
-Discuss the North-South divide
-Discuss the economic rise of many former impoverished countries
-Discuss economic inequality in society
Does globalisation enhance the lives of people? (Not as focused on economic arguments)
-Discuss the technological enhancements which have occured due to globalisation
-Discuss the transportation enhancements which have been encouraged due to globalisation
-The spread of culture and new ideas
-A negative could be that it has arguably eroded traditional cultures and ideas in many countries
Does globalisation give too much power to TNCs?
-Yes, companies such as Apple are worth more than many internationally recognised nations
-It allows companies to hold political influence due to their control over jobs and their (due to globalisation making it much easier) ability to re-locate much more easily
-Companies must still adhere to the rules and regulations of countries they wish to do business with
There is much more you can talk about:
It allows for specialist economies to thrive such as Saudi Arabia's oil based economy
-What happens if a new substitute for oil is found/invented and the implications this would have? (might not be the best example)
Increases cooperation and trade through economic intergration on a global scale
-A financial crisis in one part of the world, due to economic intergration can have huge implications for the rest of the world
Another topic could be
'Evaluate the different types of trading blocs'
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for
Sorry if it isn't
