D'aww. He is purrrfectly adorable how he's purring in the second video. And he has a little beard, which is also cute.

What a delightful beast, I wish I could have one as a pet.
you wouldn't want to piss him off, that cat scratch could be lethal.
He is adorable! :h:

It is

Why do Lynx have such large paws? Are they mostly found in snowy territory?

Watch 13 seconds in to the second video, he looks very happy!

I read a pdf online about keeping pet Lynxes, apparently they are very similar temperamentally to domestic cats (they are much more like domestic cats than, say, tigers)

I have 3 cats and they can all seem happy one minute but the next they are taking chunks out your hand for no good reason.

Yes, exactly. Apparently it helps them not to sink into the snow but gracefully bound on top of it.

They are very noble creatures.

Get a water spray bottle (like hairdressers use to wet people's hair). Every time your cat bites or scratches you, just spray them in the face. They hate that, but it's not a violent chastisement. They learn pretty quickly.

They don't learn, all 3 of them are pretty much feral. They spend days outside without coming home, it is where they are happiest.

One of them actually loves water, he goes he swims in the neighbours pond.
@AlexanderHam

This baby Lynx looks like he would kill you in a heartbeat

There's a campaign to reintroduce them in the UK to keep the deer population in check.

Won't that just lead to people hunting them? :frown:

They'd be protected by law(I assume).

Ha! He's like, "No! My chicken! Leave meh alone with my tasty chicken".

But (as the video title says) Max (the lynx) is really just a big baby. He's harmless
