Allright guys, my first choice wanted ABB and my second BBB, but I only got BBC and so though I wouldn't get in either.

I've looked at the tracker though, and although my first choice says 'unsuccessful', my second choice now has 'firm' written in the 'your reply' column, having been updated yesterday.

Anyone tell me what this all means?

Looks like you've been accepted by your insurance!

I'd assume that means you've been accepted by your Insurance, though should phone them to check all this (hope you sorted out accom there etc!). Where's PQ...

Which is the wierd thing, because I rang them yesterday to see if I'd got in and they said no.

Double check with UCAS to ask them what it means. You may have to look to other options though perhaps

Does it say conditional firm or unconditional firm?

If it's CF then the decision from your firm has come through as a reject (changing your CI to a CF).

If it's UF then the decision from your firm has come through as a reject (changing your CI to CF) and your decision from your insurance has come through as an acceptance (changing the CF to a UF).

I'm guessing if they said no over the phone that it's saying CF and it's simply that they haven't updated UCAS with the fact that they don't want you yet....which means it will soon change to unsuccessful and you'll be sent a CEF form to do the official side of clearing.
