Lost weight during Freshers' Week?

I started a thread a little while ago asking if anybody actually loses weight during Freshers'. Well, I somehow managed to forgo my usual habit of being a big greedy bastard and actually lost a little weight just by not wanting to cook / having no appetite from being ill. Anybody else manage to beat the expected weight gain?

(No, I don't have some weird weight obsession, I'm just stuck in on a Saturday night and eating a Pot Noodle.)
Ditto the whole post. I can never be arsed to cook, so don't.

I've lost a bit of weight as I'm trying not to buy too much food, and am sometimes having cereal twice a day.

Since starting university at a size 12-14, I dropped to a solid 12 in my first year, went back up to a 14 upon visiting my parents at the start of summer for a while, and, since returning home, have dropped to a size 8.

I don't think I've dropped a clothes size, but I feel slightly thinner in myself and my clothes are fitting better, or worse, depending on what size they are. I'm quite proud of myself for not piling on about a stone to be honest, though given a choice I'd welcome my appetite back.

I kind of stick to the same weight, but I've definitely eaten less, and better.

I don't think I lost a significant amount of weight during Freshers, but I hardly ate much at all (well, nothing decent at least). Although I do think any weight I would lose due to my lack of cooking will be counterbalanced by me eating any random crap to fill the hour-long gaps in between my lectures. :s-smilie:

I think I might've lost some weight.

With the very limited budget my Dad's given me, I'm not going to waste it on food....
Both me and my friend have lost some weight. I have gone down a whole dress size and she has lost around a pound. We actually do cook communally and therefore people do eat, its just weird.
I reckon i've lost half a stone in the three weeks i've been here, a combination of the 2 mile walk to Uni (and then back) and not being able to afford to snack.
