Fees and Status of residency Question

Hi,

I'm looking for some general advice about how my residency status would be regarded if I were to apply to the OU for a PG degree.

I am a British citizen with a British passport and a permanent home address in the UK. However, I have been working on short term teaching contracts outside of the UK for the past couple of years. I returned and worked full-time in the UK between Sept 2015 and September 2016, but I have since been in Asia on a couple of 4 month contracts which require me to return to the UK in between stints.
My question is, should I apply to the OU, would I be treated as a UK Home student, or could I face the cost of International fees?

Any advice would be appreciated.

When I called the OU with an immigration question, the answer I was given used the phrase "ordinarily resident". This is a legal phrase typically used for tax purposes, so you may want to look into its legal definition.

Or just call the OU. They were spectacularly helpful.
