Hi,

This is probably a stupid question but i have been trying to find my student email address and i am having no luck at all. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Have you registered with Student Home? If not, you'll need to because its the DD100 homepage and access to the eTMA system.

Your email address is shown on the left hand sign of the Student Home web page.

Also do you know where to download the TMA template, The paperwork says that it can be downloaded from the OU website.

Hi

I'm not sure where to download it from, but general opinion is that its far too complicated and not really worth the hassle.

I'm just going to follow the layout instructions which are given in the Intro Chapter.

Instead of strictly an open.ac.uk email, you have a my.open.ac.uk email. The main thing you need to do is go to the StudentHome page, and click on "Go to Google Apps start page" near the bottom on the left column. Your @my.open.ac.uk email account is currently gmail based, but I heard a rumour that they're switching to Microsoft Office 365 in the near future. (I can't recall where I heard it, or I'd link you, so don't count on it 100%.)

Your email address will be your OUCU (like your initials followed by four or five digits, or zy######) followed by @my.open.ac.uk. You can use the link "Change my Google Apps nickname" from the StudentHome page to change this to something friendlier to remember.

The OU have actually confirmed they're aiming to switch in early 2018.. so very soon! It's on the notice page on Student Home > Links > OU Google Account :h:
