Smoked weed for first time..

I smoked some cannabis for the first time at like 3 am today and I've only felt 'effects' of it at like 3pm today, and it seems heightened now (fidgetness of the arms and hand and coldness there, lack of clear though etc.)

Are the 'effects' I'm experiencing "right" and should I be feeling it this late after I smoked it?? I think I inhaled way too much :s-smilie:

That sounds unusual. If the symptoms persist or worsen you should have a word with your GP (everything you say will be confidential).

Btw drugs are bad.

Nope.. I just feel really fidgety in my upper arms (trying verrry hard to type here), and I feel 'drunk' in terms of slightly exagerrated movements.
My first - and only - experience has put me off for life!

I mixed it with alcohol, though (idiot).... I didn't even feel that good and when I went to bed, the room was spinning like crazy and I was really panicky. The morning after, I felt hungry, lazy and frustrated as well as frustratedat myself for being lazy.

peer pressure majorly sucks, but you've got to try REALLY hard to not give into it. only do things if you want to do them, not because others want you to. in the end, people will respect you a lot more for standing up for yourself and not being a sheep.
you shouldn't be feeling it 12 hours later.

Can we avoid the 'drugs are bad' comments people, thats not what he's asking for here plus 'drugs are bad' is a matter of opinon and scientific debate.

Lol... Enjoy the buzz, although you shouldn't be feeling it 12 hours later.

This is what is worrying the ***** out of me!!! If it was like immediately afterwards I wouldn't have expected anything else but now... :s-smilie: :s-smilie:
Yeah, that does sound unusual.

I've only smoked it once but the only after effects I got were a tight and tickly chest. And that happened for a few hours after I'd done it.

Hmm. I dunno.
Are you sure it was weed and not ash.
Weird :s it might just all psychological like you feel bad that nothing happened so your making stuff happen like when doctors hand out placebos to make people who are hypochondriacts feel better.

Anyways when i smoked weed all i felt was tired apart from one time i smoked abit too much and the room was spinning and i nearly fainted and had to be carried to my tent lol haven't touched the stuff since, i don't understand why people want to be stoners. Quite a few of my friends are and all they do all day is go to each others houses get stoned and got to their crappy job just to spend their money on weed again.

Erm it doesn't really sound normal for it to have kicked in that late, especially with weed.

Sorry, I phrased that badly. My point is that recreational drugs by definition cause physical changes within the body, and these quite often have unpleasant effects. Having encountered several stoned individuals as a first aider at events (which admittedly is a very biased sample!) I've seen just how serious the effects can be. I only bring this up because it is substantiated well by the OP's experience.

You dont feel awful tho do you? Just fidgety and a little drunk? If theyre not bad feelings, then you should be ok. Just enjoy the buzz.
Is a little strange you're experiencing it so late though. If the symptoms get any worse, maybe call Frank? Or see if you can talk to anyone on the website to get some professional advice. Or your GP as stated above.

When I used to smoke pot, it would wear me out for the whole day after I smoked. Weed can make some people (like me) very paranoid and acutely aware of bodily symptoms. If you are already a sensitive person, you're probably getting some sort of left over paranoia.

How much weed did you smoke?

lol at all the comments from people who clearly have no experience with drugs. no you shouldnt be able to feel that youve smoked weed 12 hours later, im pretty sure your just over reacting and imagining it! which makes you think its real.
