Student Finance Help?

If I apply for Student Finance and then decide I don't actually want to go to university this year, what happens? Will I just not receive any of the money?

If you apply for finance and don't go, you won't get any of the money. Your attendance has to be confirmed by your uni before you can get any money.

If you don't turn up at the university (they register you upon arrival) then you will not receive any money. However, it's probably best to phone up student finance/ go on their website to cancel your application, just in case!
