Midwifery at RGU

Hopefully you will be on this to answer a few of my questions!
Can I ask what the interview process is?i.e send application, then is it a interview? I did read that it's a group and individual interview what is discussed? Also do you do a maths and English test?
How has your first year gone so far? I.e placements do you do them in different semesters? Or do you do them throughout the year? I have a young family so just so I can gauge how things would work out! Thanks
