I do warfare through time for history GCSEs too. What I find useful is to go through the Edexcel book by Pearsons (purchased from Amazon for around £15) and take notes as well as answering every single question on every page. Also, because I have 3 lesson a week, after every lesson I make flashcards about the topics I have learnt. This way I have my flash cards all sorted for Year 11
