Also, just to alleviate any fears you might have, Higher French was not hard. A-Level is a bit more advanced than Higher but it was nothing too demanding. You learn the imperfect, perfect, future and conditional tenses, you learn how to use direct objects, you are taught how to briefly express an opinion and you write 150-word pieces on stuff like school uniform for which the vocab is handed to you on a plate.
