Hi Is anyone staying at Goldsmiths this year? I want to stay where there is alot of first year freshers? so Goldsmiths or Glass house?

Because NTU accommodation was booked up quite quickly, there are a number of students staying in the two private accommodations you mentioned. There's no guarantee you'll be sharing a flat with them though. My recommendation, based on what I've heard, would be Glasshouse. That being said, do what's best for you. Even in private accommodation you'll be able to get involved in absolutely loads of freshers activities so you'll be able to meet people even if there aren't many that you're living with

I want to stay where there is alot of first years. Is Glass house a good place to socialise? can not see any recent reviews online.

In private accommodation, like Glasshouse, there's no guarantee you'll be with first years or even Nottingham Trent students. For example, you could be with a second or third year student from University of Nottingham. There are NTU first years at Glasshouse, but again there is no guarantee there'll be loads and there's no guarantee you'll share a flat with them. You'll still be able to go to freshers events and the student union, so there'll be plenty of opportunity to socialise

just rang trinity house, going to view on Tuesday. Think I will probably stay there if all is good. they said 80/90 percent first year students.
did you say you know some first years staying there in sept? anyone studying economics and business?

That's good then. I hope you like it! I don't recall what course they're doing, sorry. That's at the city campus though, right? If so, there will likely be at least one or two there
