Have you done the dihybrid cross? Can you tell me the gametes it produces?

I don't usually say this, but don't just give her the answer. She's made no attempt at the question so you're doing no help just giving her the answer. She hasn't even done the dihybrid cross.

What are your 4 gametes you used? It should be a 4x4 cross. Send us a picture if you can.

Hey it's fine. Usually it doesn't bother me but she's made 4 threads with different questions in the last 30 minutes so she's obviously trying to wack down some answers for homework or something lmao

I accidentally made those threads because today was my first time posting. I swear I've actually done the cross I was just a little confused and wanted some guidance. If you don't want to help you can kindly leave. These two were actually trying to help me by speaking to me in a kind manner with a pure intention.

I was trying to help you, as you're new to the forum you should understand that it is not designed to give you complete solutions. It is a good idea to let others know how far you have reached with the question, it makes others more willing to help. There are lots of people here to help you with your questions as they do with mine

Slowdive is trying to help you. You ever heard the saying "Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll eat for the rest of his life."

By getting you to talk through what you've done and guide you through doing it yourself, you'll be able to answer different dihybrid questions, not just this one.

I'm a 1st Year Geneticist so I'm happy to guide you through some other genetics questions if you need it.

yeah I understand that, but there is no need for your rude behaviour In trying to inform others about how many threads I've made or even worse try to assume my intentions.

Thank you for that! I know understand.

So far I've done the punnet square and got a ratio of 1/16

but this was for homozygous for both recessive traits.

the question is asking me for dominant homo for A and recessive for trait B

this is where I was confused...

I'm sorry to offend a new user, it's a generally nice environment here so don't be put off! You will find the more you practice these type of questions the more repetitive they become.
