I did y = a^x
ln y = ln a^x
ln y = x ln a
x = ( ln y ) * 1/( ln a )
dx/dy = 1/y * 1/( ln a )
dy/dx = y ln a
(sub y = a^x)
dy/dx = a^x ln a

I got that!
What was N? i got like 3800 and something, pretty sure it's wrong
can someone tell me what mark each Q was worth?

Nah I checked on my calc and it was something close to 3800, can't remember exact number.

I managed to get the first 3 parts, but couldn't work out how to prove dy/dx

Nope, it was ~3867 i think
Q was |lnN - 10.5| <6

Yeah e^8.25 which is 3827. Something so N was 3827
What was the range of the function?

Now I see what I didn't do. I should have done dx/dy and then flipped it to dy/dx. Damn
How to do question 8?
I got R=10 and alpha=36.9

Yeah that's the number I got

Alpha was about 60 wasn't it

Do you think I'd lose a mark for keeping it as e^8.25?

How??

What was the range of the function?

0<f(x)≤3 is what I put...
Anyone get 10sin (x-53.1) for I think q8?
