Honestly for a wedding gift we d love new pans and cushions, practical things are a good bet.

Many couples getting married tend to want something that they can use in their home. Ask the couple if they have a list of things they need, e.g microwave, pans, knife set etc. Buy something off that perhaps. If they've already moved and settled into a home with all appliances and furnishings, money is a generally well received option. They can put it towards their honeymoon or days out together.

I completely agree with you "money is a generally well received option".

Something can remember me, instead the money is spent and there is no memory.
