Free and single for 1st time in 3 year - CONFUSED!!!
Hey - this is probably a common problem but one which for me in any case is about as easy as juggling hot coals.
Story so far: My girlfriend of 3 years and I split a year ago, and i spent the last year getting over her (possibly too long?? but was needed). Now this year im ready to "get out there" again. The main problem is that the last time i was free and single properly was in sixth form and I havnt a clue what to do. Just chilling out with my mates has been helpful and I can sort of get to the getting the numbers stage (but generally by fluke :P).
Anyways, the question is after you get a girls number at a party what the hell you do next???

I wouldn't recommend going to the movies on a first date, you need to go somewhere where you can talk to each other properly. Also I wouldn't recommend going out to eat as I know most girls dont like eating in front of guys on a first date incase they end up looking like a moron
Once you have a girls number you should maybe text her the next day as it shows your keen and just say something about the party/club etc and then hopefully she'll tx back quick to show that she's keen.
I think going to the cinema is alright option because you can just get used to being around each other without trying to think of stuff to talk about and then if there is a good vibe between you then go for a drink after so you can chat.
Just go with the flow.
