Holding deffered entry... can i re apply?
hi,
i applied last year for deffered entry as i always wanted to take a gap year. i easily achieved my grades and now hold a place for entry 2008. however due to change of interest and much higher grades i want to study else where and for a different subject. is this possible and how would i go about this? what are my options?
any help would be great!

I don't know for sure, but I guess that you would need to be released from your held place and then you can, phone your uni to find out.
Um.. fairly sure you'll just have to relinquish your deferred place and apply again as normal.

Yes: that's what I said. You can reapply, as long as you relinquish your deferred place.

I am saying you can't reapply whilst holding a deferred place. You can cancel your deferred offer and apply again, or keep your deferred offer
