How to get closer to a guy?

MODS please please keep it anon as the guy I am talking about here comes quite regularly and if he found out about this I don't think I would be able to face him at all with embarssement :frown:

Basically there's this guy that I like who goes to the same uni as me. We met about 7 months ago and we started going to the same uni this year. We live in the same area but in seperate halls and I have kind of started to fancy him a bit :redface:

. We dont get to meet that often because we are not doing the same course or live in the same halls so I was actually thinking of ways to get a bit closer to him before I might start dropping hints that I have started to fancy him a bit and I think from the way he speaks he has a soft spot for me as well, its just not that important yet :p:

. I was thinking that I could invite him to go the some events with me as we have pretty much similar interests and it would be a good way to show him how great I can be :wink:
