what grade would this mark be?

Hi, i'm doing the new AQA gcse maths. As a mock, our school did paper 1 from the resit november paper. So the linear B one, out of 70 marks. In that paper, i got full marks, what grade could it be in the 9-1 system? in the old one it's A*.
So you got full marks?
If so then that would be a 9

yes, it was 70/70. However it was an old spec paper.
I think you probably just have to take in good faith that it would be a 9. Unless it had different topics or some other change then you could assume that. But, if you don't want to call it a 9 to make sure you keep motivated then maybe an 8 if it didn't include everything you would study now.
If it's on the old spec you can't apply the new grades to it; that just doesn't make sense. Do a new one and see how that goes. The old papers are different and easier in comparison so you can't go off them-specimen papers would be much more useful
