Maybe invite friends over instead...that way at least you can chill a bit. Also if your parents get to know one of tour friends well, they might be more open for you to go hangout with them too.

Join extra curricular activities etc. Gives you some social and yh freedom tbh.

Again, something I do used to do is to get friends to buy me some clothes I liked and wear them in the comfort of my own bedroom. Could do the same with makeup but I didn't bother. At least this way, you'll know how to put on makeup well :biggrin:

Again with a phone, you have to make a deal that I'll leave it with you at night (slowly slowly you'll end up being able to hold on to it majority of the time) and to allow 'phone checks'. It sucks, I know.

For you, remember that uni's a possible out for you. Don't go crazy over the top with the freedom tho :tongue:

And must agree with one of the other posters about driving...

If you're already 18 then technically you're an adult so your parents can't control you or tell you what to do. If I were you I'd just simply disobey them and damn whatever the consequences are.
