Hey guys!

So I have my as government and politics exams on june 5 and june 8. Now, like since forever my way of studying for every subject has been like going through the question answers of each and every topic and understanding the concept from those answers. I've never really read my books. I just go through the questions and answers for that specific subject from a guide book and that helps me score pretty good marks! so can you guys suggest me any website/book from where i can read like loads of different types of questions for each and every topic? Would be really amazing! Thank you so so much in advance!

I used TSR for definitions and notes. Head to the study area.

Get revising had amazing Essay plans for unit 1 and 2.

I also recommend the AQA revision guides by Hodder education. And many seem to pass on the MyRevisionNotes series but they were by far the best! Even though I think it's only for Edexcel the spec is like for like for and the exam questions for edexcel are also 5, 10, 25. (Ignore the 40's unless you're bored). Other than that, I found my knowledge of history to be a great hand in the exam.

I managed to get an A at AS (in both units) and I'm on track for an A* at A2 my secret was TSR flash cards for revision and content, essay plans, learning history, My revision notes and past papers… also worth noting around this time last year I stopped going to lessons because I think people are productive learning alone for subjects like this.

It covered everything that came up except by-elections but funny enough tutor2u made an article that morning on them so that was lucky it was really helpful, I remember having something about the coalition and HOL, which was covered in the essay plans

WHen i answer 25 markers i try to do 2 for and 2 against, then i include a killer point backing my argument in the conclusion. I would recommend to try to do this structure:
Intro
2 for
2 against
Conclusion summarizing arguments and including a final point to back up your argument.

I hope this helps

I've done 2 for unit 1 and 3 for unit 2 (because I find unit 2 questions harder so I'd rather be safe). I'm so stressed too!! How are you revising atm? I'm going through exam questions and they're not too bad but I feel like I'll forget all the exams for voting behaviour and electoral systems (

If anybody's predicting what's gonna be on the paper could you guys try to predict what's gonna be on the topics of participation and pressure groups? Like what all questions can they ask? Also do we need to know up to date examples to support our answer?

For each topic you should include any recent examples i.e stuff to do with Brexit! examiners will love it so just use loads of brexit examples that relate to the question you choose to do. hope that helps
