Working in a group with my mate
ok, I trust her loads and she's a great person BUT she's just like me - convinced her idea's the best. I have to work with her for a few months now... it may very easily tear us apart.... how do I keep our friendship & work proactively?

Well if you are very close friends, differences in opinion won't matter. Personally you can always just ignore the idea and carry on with the way you wish to do it. You can also just discuss the best way beforehand and then sort of combine the two ideas together and say why you want to edit particular bits in the idea.
