Think my friend is in love with me??

A while back a good friend of mine told me that he used to have feelings for me (but was nervous about pursuing it and knew that I was into someone else anyway). I was flattered that he liked me, but I definitely didn't like him in that way and I thought it was in the past for him anyway, so it was left.

A few months have gone by, and now I've found out from his friend that his feelings definitely aren't gone, he's apparently 'crazy about me' still.

So I just want to know, should I talk to him about it?

having been in your friend's position, YES.

It may be hard to do, but it is better in the long run.

Yes, definitely. He's a friend, and you dont want to upset him by 'leading him on', coz even though you may not be aware youre doing so, little things are giving him hope. you need to be clear, but not harsh.

I know this is the right thing to do coz i can see it happening between a really good friend of mine and a girl he really likes, and theyre good friends also. And I wish she would just tell him, so he knows, once and for all, coz it's upsetting him, seeing her with other guys and stuff. So he can move on.

if he knows nothing will ever happen between you then i don't see the point in talking about it.

infact even if they hold out hope, it'll probably be ridiculously embarrassing discussing it, and will jeopardise your friendship.

^ I agree, it will be sort of humilating for your friend I'd imagine too.

Get a friend of yours to talk to you about it, that's what happened with me. Looking back on it i think i'd have rathered the friend over the actual girl.
