Need advice - upset
Am really upset at the mo. Just got some agency work and have been there a few days, before I took it I on I told them I need a day off (have arranged to see my idol) just said I had an appointment. Now a permanent job I applied for at the council rang today and want me to go for an interview the day after. I told my boyfriend I might work 9-2 then go see my idol and have Thursday off instead and he's upset me saying I won't get agency work again as I'm taking the mick.
He said I should forget seeing my idol, I don't see why I should its a once in a lifetime ooportunity. I need to go for the interview as its permanent. The temp job I'm doing at the mo is data entry and only for a few weeks. It would not be practical for me to go to work after the interview for less than 3 hours as the job in 20 miles away and 20 miles back trip. I don't want to get on the wrong side of anyone incase I don't get the perm job. Anyone got any ideas?

Couldn't you just take the day off for the temp job, or just say you were ill or something.
When I worked as a temp, they were pretty flexible... but your case might be different.
Don't get upset, just do what you want to do, you'll regret it otherwise.
