Advice on how to become a livestock veterinary nurse

Hi I'm asking for any advice or details on how to become a livestock veterinary nurse please.

I currently work on a pig farm so I have a fair amount of experience with livestock and I am wanting to progress my career with livestock more and become a vet. I have a real care for the welfare of the animals and I love working on the farm with them.

I am nearly 20 years old, have good GCSE's A*-C including English, Maths and Science. And I have a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - MPP (This was my original career choice, but when I got into the job I realised it wasn't me)

Am I too late to become a livestock vet? I hope someone can help me. Thank you.
Not to say there are none but there are very few solely large/farm animal vet nurses. Most nurses I have met that work with farm animals work in the small animal department of mixed practices and are occasionally called to help in calvings etc.
