Helppp...I'm really struggling with Edexcel iGCSE French at the moment...which is awful because I've generally been very good and want to take it for A-level (!).

How is everyone preparing for the writing? Are you learning key sentences? What about the listening? The listening is hell and I can't seem to get more than 35/50

Feel free to discuss! :s

Our teacher made us a booklet with different past papers in it, we've just been doing the past 20 mark and 15 mark questions really but It's kinda hard to study for tbh

From someone who scrapped a 7 in iGCSE Spanish, learn from my mistakes:

- Actually learn the vocab and grammar you've, it will make the questions a lot easier as you'll properly understand what the question is asking and you can know what to look out for in reading/listening papers or know how to answer in the writing paper
- Learn extra vocab, so any vocab that you didn't know before but you've found out for a practice question/oral
- Do practice, either by speaking to your friends/someone online in French as it gets you used to speaking and listening to French

For some more fun stuff:
- Listen to French music
- Watch French TV/youtubers
- Read articles/books/short stories in French

If you put the effort in now, it'll be a lot easier later. I managed to get a 7 as it was an easier test/easier to guess and I could tell that my teacher secretly was kind of annoyed that I got a 7 😂
