For Barcap, I was told that you need to score in the top half (50th to 100th percentile) in the numeracy test to be invited to the verbal one. Then top half again in the verbal to get your application considered.

I did an SHL practice test last month just before I did my BarCap tests. 91% in numeracy and 75% in literacy .... so not bad. And yes, My app is 'also under review' after the verbal.

I did one for RBS - failed.
Then i did one again for Credit Suisse - I passed - Luck of the Irish...ehh.
