EE marketing graduate scheme

Hi,

Anybody got their assessment centre next week?
Mines on Tuesday

It would be really useful if people stated what schemes they are referring to since this thread has now been hijacked by people who didn't even apply for the marketing programme. Which is very annoying cos you get your hopes up or fear the worst only to find its for another scheme.

So it's either other people make a seperate thread for their specific scheme, or explicitly state what scheme they are referring to as I'm guessing this is now a general EE thread.

Have you been invited for an AC. I'm guessing from this response, perhaps not.

No I haven't and it's pissing me off people are saying they have but not mentioning what scheme it's for

I'd probably look beyond EE then, majority of AC's accoridng to the hr person i spoke with when i got my invite are this week and next.

Yes, the HR contact made that fairly clear. Not much prep you can do though bar whats already been done for video interview.

Bit mad how after all this time and saying we wouldn't be preparing a presentation to then send an email on Monday morning saying the complete opposite.

did anyone on here attend an assessment day for marketing on the 30th? and if so have you heard back from them?

Its my first assessment centre I'm worried. Can anyone who's attended the AC shed some light on what goes on particularly the interview, presentation and group task.

Bit annoying though how they said a presentation wouldn't be prepared before hand over 2 weeks ago and now on Monday afternoon, with less than 4 days, they drop a big presentation brief for us to prepare. Especially as they could of sent this Friday to give the weekend.

Try getting a phone call late yesterday afternoon inviting you and saying that you need to prepare for the whole thing and a presentation

Well that's no different to myself as the only thing we can really prepare for bar the usual standard prep is the presentation, and I also only found out about this yesterday afternoon. No idea why they have changed the recruitment team to an external provider so late in the day. Also were you told, that you wouldn't have access to a laptop etc?

They said they had only just reviewed my application - so I imagine they were behind in the applications and so had to outsource to try and get through them in time! I think so, no visual aids or screen they said. Just have to get on with it I guess

I've had my assessment centre today and will help with any general queries regarding the assessment centre. Please don't ask for specific help as this wont be fair for those who have already completed their assessment centres.

Please note assessment centres may vary from scheme to scheme so be careful when reading things online as they may/ may not affect you.

The assessment centre generally will consist of
Presentation - prepared in advance by candidates
Group task - not much to say on this but to demonstrate team work behaviours wherever possible
interview - Competency interview to identify if you'd be a good match with EE's values and vision

best tip: You'll hear it over and over again but research the company thoroughly.
