Notts Uni say they guarantee accommodation for all first year students. Not sure where they put you, but they do say they always sort you out in the first year. Students at the open day said they were really good about sorting out accommodation, even after your first year, so I wouldn't worry. Just contact the accommodation team at the Uni and ask them what the process is for applying after clearing
