Hi, no matter what I do I can't seem to get solver excel to work.. I'm always getting the linear function wrong. I hope any kind soul that's familiar with solver can help me.. I've been cracking my skull for days over this..

So in this excel sheet..

Selling price (Cell C10) can only be from $150-$180
Units sold (Cell C9) will decrease by percentage increase in selling price of Cell C10

I want to maximize the value of cash flow in cell G11

I can only change the VC(Others) (Cell C2) between $27 and $33..

I've been currently using the following in solver:
Set objective: $G$11
To: Max
By changing variable cells: $C$2,$C$9
Subjected to following constraints:
$C$2 <= 33,
$C$2 >= 27,
$C$10 <=180,
$C$9 = (1-(($C$10-150/150))*$C$9

Could anyone help me with this please using the solver function?

To be honest, this looks rather a mess. I'm not clear what you're trying to achieve, and can't make head nor tail of the spreadsheet.

There's nothing linking the objective to any of your variables.
There are no formulae in any of the cells, apart from text in one.
And there's nothing in the Solver itself to go on.

Do you have anything further that might help?
