Cynical as hell. But maybe that's because of what happened in the relationship.

I learnt that finding love is easy, but keeping it all together is hard.
I also learnt that love is a beautiful thing and you should take the risk you do when you give in to it, because those memories and that feeling are both priceless things.

It always made me slightly cynical, but then getting with my boyfriend now turned me back into a soppy romantic

I ended up cynical, bitter, and twisted as hell. I also decided that I'd rather be single than risk going through all that misery again.

Cynical. One continually picked me up and dropped me for over 2 years and slowly and painfully broke my heart, the other it was short and sweet and then he stuck the knife in straight away, cut up my heart into tiny little pieces and then pissed on it. I was a mess.

Message to the cynical people - get friendly with someone else who is cynical then you both know what heartbreak does and you can more easily trust each other not to do it again.

Initially: Brief alcoholic period/whining/crying
