UKIP have already announced their plans to scrap 10bn form the foreign aid to spend on helping those in Britain. Do you think scrapping Foreign Aid will hinder our relations with other countries (and does that really matter?) and if you would scrap it, how would you hope to spend it?

Why do you believe Foreign Aid should be kept, especially when our state funded schools can barely afford paper (Including grammars)

Yes, the reason schools can't afford paper is because they are underfunded. I have worked in schools and this is the case at the moment.

However, the current government would rather fund weapons, cut the tax for well-off, not adequately tackle rich tax-avoiders etc. than properly fund education. It is not foreign aid to blame here. After all, if you are privileged enough you don't have to worry about underfunded state schools. You can just buy a house in the right catchment area or pay for private schooling.

But if we did scrap Foregin Aid, this funding would be freed up for the schooling. Whether you see the tax breaks for well off people or companies as business opportunities or the rich elite helping the rich elite, you can't deny -0billion could go a long way to helping the UK. Answer this: do you believe people should be able to look after their own before they try to help others?

If Foreign Aid was scrapped, why would they put the money into schools? Cuts almost never go to NHS or schooling so there's no point scrapping it.

Cuts are more to do with trying to save money due to our massive debt that keeps increasing. The 10bn frees up an extra 10 billion which we can then use for schooling or police etc.

We spend 0.7% of our income on foreign aid, it is a pretty insignificant amount, and goes towards providing clean water, vaccinations, and education to the third world.

Scrapping it would free up a pretty tiny amount of money in relation to how much our public services need, and would result in tens of thousands of deaths over the years.

If you want to give money to public services so desperately, increase taxes on those who have a vast excess of wealth, rather than stopping people from receiving sanitation and clean water.

Cutting foreign aid is like stopping people from giving a few quid to the homeless here and there and making them give it to the government instead.

We won't see a penny of that 10 billion put to good use - I think many have the impression that saving money means it will be put into something valuable, like the NHS, but there's little to no chance of that happening - just look at the £350 million a week more we're supposed to be getting as a result of leaving the EU. Where is it? Oh yeah, frog-faced fibber Farage came out and said it was a pack of lies, as did cheesestring haired spoon-whittling BoJo. Any money saved as a result of cutting foreign aid - which will slaughter any piddly ties we have left after this whole Brexit roulette - will be wasted on May's ridiculous grammar schools concept. Don't forget that national debt, that grows at a rate of £5,000 per second. £10-20 billion is pennies on this scale, it really is. We spend 0.7% on Foreign Aid - the food we throw away in waste per household adds up to more than £12 billion. It's literally nothing.
Besides, as for looking after 'our own', I reckon those Theresa May protects in her precious little 1% are very different to those we consider to be one of our own. That money would only be wasted on some other, equally ridiculous and outdated grammars-esque scheme that May conjured up on two hours sleep.
