The best Zoology degrees

Hi!

Just thinking of applying for Zoology as my first degree in order to proceed to Vet science later on as a graduate..:p:

Really interested in it and wondering in which universities it is considered the best?
In teaching , dedication, interesting modules etc.

As far as I am concerned i need an Upper Class Honours degree for the vets graduate course..

So please answer!! Thanx.

I'm doing a similar thing and have only applied to Leeds. Meant to be good
I'm applying to Zoology and so far thinking about Imperial, UCL, Durham, Nottingham and Bristol.

Imperial is amazing for any science degree so it's my first choice. =)

yeah imperial, UCL and bristol look very good..

Im applying to 3 vets unis and to zoology for the rest.
I'm applying for Zoology this year but depending on my A-level results and the amount of work experience I can get this year, I may take a gap year and apply for Vet med next year. =D
I would suggest that you did a course in ANIMAL SCIENCE not zoology if you wanted to go in to grad vet.

Zoology is to vet as ecology is to medicine. Yes the degree will have some useful parts, but you would be better of doing a more related subject.
I'm doing that sort of thing and am Looking at Exeter (the cornwall campus), Glasgow, Liverpool, Bristol and Nottingham. But I've heard Leeds is supposed to be good too (:

I would say Sheffield is the best out of the ones I applied to (It's better than oxford/cambridge in some aspects of its course I think! - If you look on the leaderboards)
Exeter is pretty good aswell.
