Underpredicted Grades!!!!

last summer i was underpredicted in my a levels and so cld not apply to my choice of unis.when results came out i got higher than what i was predicted and so had to go to City (not that this is a TERRIBLE uni, but has not got a great rep).
has this happend to anyone else as i am feeling quite resentful.

Someone I know got AAAA after being predicted ABB. Worst of all, she didn't know she'd been predicted ABB and applied to AAA-standard unis and got rejected by all six. (And it's spelt "Psycho".)

Happened to me.

My friend got unconditionals and basically did no work in his final year as a result. I on the other hand had to work and get semi-decent marks to drag myself in - ended up doing better than him, of course.

Never did get an adequate explanation of why my school underpredicted me.

yeah its a possibility but ive already started my course! and also my parents would go mad if i took a gap year and i would prefer to start working as soon as possible.

Never did get an adequate explanation of why my school underpredicted me.

yeah i was going to ring up and complain but i thought what is the point?nothing can be done now and they would just make excuses, so i left it :mad:

Ah but then, I was over predicted and that worked pretty well against me too! It's guesswork! If teacher's knew what you were going to get we wouldn't have exams!
