cgp revision book VS text book

hi, i'm homeschooled and i was wondering if i only study the cgp revision guide by heart without touching the edexcel textbook will it be enough?

If you have both, use both. Makes for extra revision and also to cover any potential gaps, though the book will cover most, if not all things.
The Cgp revision guide are cheaper and are just as good as the textbook. So overall, Cgp.

If you are worried about missing any critical information, use the Cgp guides along with your specification.

The textbooks may be beneficial for you, if you really really want to understand a topic and practice it etc.

The Cgp guides themselves have very few practice questions and are mainly just facts you need to know.

This can be fixed by buying the practice workbooks or using past papers.
Yo! I'm a university student who did GCSEs a couple years ago, but I did pretty well with nothing below an A. I would say that the CGP textbooks are very good! They're essentially all I used for sciences. BUT: don't just rely on reading them, as its not going to help for subjects like english and history. I'd reccomend trying to study with your friends. I made a video talking about the revisiont actics I use at uinveristy, which are the same as back then:

so u i should by the cgp textbook instead of cgp revision guide?
