I accidently swallowed some gum earlier and it felt like it was stuck in my throat. I had a drink and eat some food so it should have moved by now right? But I read on the internet (yes, not the best place for advice, despite me asking this here) and someone said it could be because the passage way was irritated by the gum or (and this next bit was from an apparent doctor, who helps a lot on Yahoo! Anwers) it could be because the gum scratched the throat on the way down, and it'll get better with time. So, without actually checking my ****, how do I know if the gum is still there, and, if it is, how do I get rid of it? Drink plenty of cold water?
