i know a couple of geography students and they are almost the biggest slackers around. 6 hours of classes a week or something ridiculous like that. they love it thou. a field trip before the start of term or soemthing, they had all bonded before all the other students even arrived at their halls.
hey hye, i have finally found another geographer going to manchester. if u hadnt guessed ye i am going. and i agree with the comment above, we are slackers, 6 hours lectures a week!

I take it you know all about the field trip to Keswick?
na i havent had anything on what my free subject choice is. i think we have to decide when we are there, or maybe after keswick, which i am starting to worry will be a bit of a let down. the thing that is worrying about it also is the fact that we move into halls on sunday afternoon, which is after most people on sat. could manchester uni geography staff not have thought of this and made the trip a day earlier so we could move in on sat with everyone else. i am the only person slightly 'miffed' about this....?
we prob will make lots of friends that do geo, but i would have prefered to have started in halls on even par with everyone else. oh well, not a lot i can do about it, maybe i will sudjest it for next years intake.
i do hopei am wrong about moving in sunday and being one of the last to move it, only time will tell though.
for all you geographers, see you on thu morning, and sunday night for all in burkhard and hulme hall.
