My boyfriend and my best male friend also do that, it's not a problem in my opinion... Just ask someone to wake you up if you do fall asleep... Everyone reacts differently to alcohol..

haha, after a few drinks I fell asleep for 3 hours in a shisha cafe in Leeds. I've done it in clubs too. As previous poster said so long as you have somebody to wake you up it's no biggy.

I'm kind of the same. Usually after say 3-4 drinks I start to feel a bit drowsy. Usually however have a few more drinks, mabye try get up and dance a bit or talk a lot and it'll completely go away; [=

well one of the main signs of alcohol is the body slowing down anyway, so instinctively everyone should feel tired after drinking alcohol, admitedly people respond differently to the effects of the alcohol. but alcohol is good for making you sleep. thats why for years and years, parents have been giving babies very small amounts of alcohol to help them sleep (not advisable but i know it happens and I know people who have done this). nothing to be ashamed of, just enjoy what you can when you are awake, if you feel tired go outside for a bit of fresh air or get up and dance, that or go onto a few soft drinks, maybe have a red bull or energy drink, and ther is always the option of pep pills.

It happens to me if a)I drink about 4 pints of just Beer or Cider
b) I haven't danced in a few hours.

I combat it with shots of vodka and manic dancing.

I fell asleep after some drink for about half an hour at a friend's house, woke up and they'd all gone downstairs. Was pretty funny really

Actually that's a myth, alcohol is to be avoided if you want a proper night sleep. It may make you feel drowsy, but it will also stop you from falling into a proper sleep.

Was just about to write that myself...

I find that I react differently to what I'm drinking. For example, beer tends to make me drowsy so I don't drink it, I drink wine or spirits instead. I don't know how the science of that works, or if its even possible, and maybe just something psychological, but works for me anyway...

Could be dependant on your mixer. If you have vod n coke then you have caffeine in the coke.

That happens to me, its like i dance away with my eyes closed and eventually just end up hanging on to someone till they drag me off to sit down and wake me up.
Then round two is a repeat of above.
