How would I describe when a mum comes to get her daughter from a childrens home after 10 years?

How would I describe when a mum comes to get her daughter from a childrens home after 10 years?

A few questions to get your creative juices flowing...

1. Who is going to be the narrator? The mum? The children? Someone at the home? An omniscient narrator?

2. What is the mum going to be doing between the time she finds out? How did she find out? Why is this happening? Are these reasons going to be released in fragments?

3. How are the children going to react?

4. How is it going to end? Abruptly? Happily? In an argument?

5. Where is the setting? What is the weather like? Is it a busy place?

Etc

Once you ask yourself those questions, write down sentences, then scrap ones ou don't like, think of more, put together paragraphs, scrap ones you don't like, were some more and voila.

And a massive build up to the massive break down and confusion of the daughter when they meet.Just imagine it has a film and what u'd see.
