My intention wasn't to cause a stir. Only for others seeing this thread to realise that it was the opinion of one person and to not take it to be the only opinion.
Interesting string. My wife is a first year vet student and gave up a very profitable job earning around 30k a year to do so.
It's not about the money for many vets it's loving the animals the work and the results.
