Visions goes all fuzzy all of a sudden at times...am I going blind?

For some strange reason my vision is normal and then all of a sudden it goes all fuzzy and out of focus, and i need to really really concentrate to get it back into focus again, but then it keeps on happening for some time switching from out of focus to focus. It happens even when i wear both glasses and contacts and usually at nightime, does this happen to anyone else? :s-smilie:

It happens to me sometimes, i fear one day it will stay blurred and that will be further loss to my sight.

Are you sure you are not just thinking about it to much? My eyes take time to focus but I don't really think about it. Anyway its best too see your gp or opticians. x

nope not light headed and not when i stand up after sitting down and gna see my opticians next week, i hope my eye sight aint gettign worse

I get that after I've been lying/sitting down relaxing. It's really disorientating.

same here, though it's very rare for me I worried and a little sleep/water did the trick (both i do too little of).

also, do you use a crt monitor? they're really bad for your eyes compared to tft, which obviously wouldn't help

i also get this, but it is always accompanied by a very hard and fast pain in my head. kind of like a headache but much sharper. doesnt last long and its very rarely, like once a month so i think nothing of it. btw i have nothing wrong with my vision.

yeah i get it kind of, often when I'm reading (esp. in french, lol) and suddenly the whole page will go completely out of focus for a bit. weird weird.

It may be that your eyes are just tired after focusing so long on the monitor.
Try looking at different stuff other than the monitor every half an hour

Could be a visual migraine then, I get them, but for me they are always followed by and actual migraine.

It's really annoying knowing in half an hour you are going to be in agony, and there's nothing you can do about it :frown:
