Questions might be designed to put you off. Hold tight to your specification topics. They can't change those

Haha true, the papers have been getting increasingly harder over the years. Jan 2017 was quite challenging...

Steadily work through all the past paper between now and going to sleep. Mark them, and afterwards spend 10 minutes recapping the topics you are bad at. Also do a bit tomorrow morning.

Use this site for the latest edexcel past papers:

http://paper-cut.weebly.com/igcsejan2017.html

Just find the one you are looking for! (There aren't any mark schemes for the Jan 2017, only the papers)

Look Through Mark Schemes, its useful for remembering code words, and specs for writing plans of experiments and graphs ie if a graph gets six marks, you are expected to use a key etc

Manure contains ions that are useful for plant growth, for example, magnesium ions which make chlorophyll in plants. This allows photosynthesis and plants such as algae will form, providing food for the fish.

This is what I would put and it covers 5 marks. I hope this makes sense and is useful x
