It might not be an STI, it might just be an I - it's quite hard to catch STIs from receiving oral. Whatever, if it carries on, go to the doctors/GUM clinic.

Wow, nice problem. Anyhow, like Helenia said, if it continues for roughly 3 - 5 days go and see your doctor.

Then in future, never get a blow-job off a girl you think "gets it" regularly.

Andy.
It seems unlikely that you got an STI from this girl, but it might be worth getting checked out at you GP or GUM clinic if you're worried.
It sounds to me more like a UTI than anything else.. go and see your GP, they can test and give you anit-biotics if need be.

I was quite out of it at the time.... if I go to my Oxford doctor will it appear on my medical record at home (obviously I don't want this to be on it) and if I go to a GUM clinic, are all tests instant results? It sounds a bit like chlamydia to me, but as I didn't have sex with her, as Helenia says this is unlikely. What other sort of infection could it be, and do these normally require medical treatment or do they normally sort themselves out?

It could just be a urine infection, which is sorted out after taking some tablets for a few days.
If its an infection you're going to need to get yourself checked out.. you might need some treatment.
If you go to your GP, anything that you're treated for will be added to your medical records so will appear on you're doctors files at home.
But this shouldn't be something that stops you getting it sorted.

I don't know if the results are instant, however you will most likely not have Chllamydia.

You can get that thought out of your head

Will the GUM clinic conduct a UTI test and will they be able to tell me there and then or are the samples sent away?

People get urine infections every bloody day. Why would you not want it on your record (which is entirely confidential anyway)?

Burning when you pee is a symptom of ANY UTI, not just chlamydia, so don't just pick on one because it's popular at the moment. If you go to the GUM clinic, they'll most likely take samples to be sent away to a lab, same as at the GP - they MAY do a urine dipstick which will help tell instantly if you have a UTI (though they're not 100% accurate and completely non-specific). Given you have symptoms you'll probably just be given some antibiotics anyway.

I'd say you're probably better off going to your GP, they can do a urine dip test and will know pretty quickly if you have an infection. However its not always accurate and they will probably want to send a sample off to get it tested at a lab. But in the meantime they can give you antibiotics or some other treatment, which should help clear it up.
