If your hair is also that colour, it will distract attention from your nose! :p:

That is meant in a nice way, of course, as I rather admire Profesh's hair...
Big nose eh? Hooked? If you get something that frames your face will that detract? I think yet... kinda like proffesor snape :p:. I wudnt get my head shaved that's for sure... fringe? The problem is, the nose is in the middle of your head and between your eyes so it shows a lot. If you get a fringe, itll no longer be the center... I think so anyways...
anything that points away from your nose will work, anything framing the face or pointing toward your nose will actually draw attention to it

To wit:

As you can see, I have a 'high' forehead and prominent (though not especially over-sized) nose, so adopting a hairstyle such as the one depicted in my above post compensates by bringing my 'face' forward (in the form of a fringe) and thus making my nose appear more in-line with my average dimensions: to, in effect, 'recede' relative to my overall facial composition.

Obviously the extent to which this can work is subject to one's nose (and hair); but I'd recommend it.
