24hr parking in lincoln?

Quick question - where?

My friend came to stay and parked in the campus carpark, i thought it was fine for visitors at the weekend & after 4.30pm but my friend got clamped, quite funny but not on the wallet.

We parked it in mcdonalds because its open 24hrs on a friday / saturday night but it still said about wheel clamping so i guess we got lucky that night.

What can we do?

There's some random streets round lincoln where you can get away with parking, think there's a couple off carholme road where they dont notice!

west end normally requires parking permits, you could try somewhere down the high street (one of the side roads off it) but it depends how far you're willing to walk to pick it up again.

Lincoln is pretty crap for central places to park for free. The odean car park is £1 all night for a 8 am pickup I think, its all CCTV too which is handy too.

Most places are 2 hour spots or you have to move it before 8 am, you can usually get away with random streets and moving it every so often.
