The exam boards are both WJEC. Which subject do you recommend taking? Is one more highly regarded with universities or not?

Unis really don't regard certain GCSEs as better than others, apart from the obvious Maths, English and Science. Neither ICT nor P.E. are going to affect your chances of getting into uni, however I'd say that ICT would maybe be a bit more of a useful GCSE to take. Anecdotally people usually get higher grades doing ICT compared to P.E.

Depends on what you are looking to do in the future. If you plan on taking a IT degree then i'd say ICT, if you plan on taking a sports psychology, or something of the sorts then i'd say PE.

There are some computer science/IT degrees where you had to of studied one of a range of subjects e.g. maths, physics, computer science or ICT to be considered for the degree. But if you're already taking one of the other subjects, then you don't need to worry about taking ICT in order to be considered for the course.

However, there are some degrees in computer science, like from Imperial college London, where they don't like students to of taken ICT at A level, they class it with critical thinking and general studies. But again, I'm sure they accept ICT as the 4th A level or if it was only taken at AS level, basically as long as you have 3 other A levels, you're fine.

I don't know all that much about P.E.
