    Hey,

I know last year I didn't get my student loan in 3 equal payments. The first 2 were the same and the last one was smaller. Does anybody know what percentages they are broken down to?

Maybe its different per uni, so I'm at Sheffield if that helps.

Already tried the Student loans site but couldn't find anything helpful.

    Regards,

the third one is smaller because you are suposed to support yourself over the summer. So the amount paid is roughly a 1/3 but the final payment is reduced by the long summer holiday.

You get more if your uni has extra weeks.

I don't know exactly how it's divided but your award notice should give you dates and amounts.

Sorry i've just realised this post is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Nah the third payment is smaller because the third term is the smallest. I remember them being different by at least £200.
